A few months ago when I visited the new facility for Earth Friendly Products (ECOS), I was given a special tour of their manufacturing building as well as their corporate offices. I was introduced to their newest line of products redesigned with their new logo. As a long time user of Earth Friendly Products, the VIP event was a dream come true for me. When I heard about the new release of their redesigned and re-engineered hand soaps, I was ecstatic because I love the scents that are used in Earth Friendly Products. At Earth Friendly Products, they use only essential oils and the highest quality of ingredients found only in nature. Even their lead scientist stated, “there isn’t anything in our products that wouldn’t be ingestible” and although I wouldn’t condone eating their products, EFP uses only non-toxic ingredients so their products are safe for children, adults, and pets.
Newly introduced to the public, their ECOS Hypoallergenic Hand Soaps are made with a hypoallergenic blend of vitamin E, antioxidants, and plant-derived ingredients. As with hypoallergenic soaps, there is very little to no allergic reaction to the ingredients found inside these hand soaps. And what I truly loved about these hand soaps was that they did not leave my hands feeling dry or cracked from extra washes. I tend to wash my hands a lot so I appreciate when hand soaps cleanse and moisturize my hands at the same time. I did have to pump a couple times however to get it extra sudsy but once the soap foamed up, I was able to wash it off just as easily with no soapy residue.
Now the most interesting aspect of the new ECOS Hand Soaps is the design of the bottle. It’s shaped like a multi-faceted ball with flat panels so the bottles can lean on the counter to prevent soap waste and spillage. And it’s much easier to hold onto if you’re trying to shift your hand soap bottles around when you’re cleaning your counter space. The bottles are also made from recyclable PETE #1 plastic and can be recycled again depending on your location. For me, the bottles are so gorgeous and unusual that I might end up using them as flower vases or just refill them with more hand soap later on. The bottles have an easy-to-dispense pump and currently comes in a 12.5 ounce size.
The three scents that I tried were: Lavender, Lemongrass, and Orange Blossom. I’m fickle when it comes to scents and I usually prefer Lavender scents, but the Lemongrass smells very “citrusy” and the Orange Blossom has a crisp orange scent to it. Each of them has their own unique scents so you really can’t go wrong with any of the scents. Buy all three of them just to change up the colors and the fragrances. And since the natural fragrances are extracts of the plants you won’t have to worry about any lingering pungent scents either.
ECOS Hypoallergenic Hand Soaps are sold in select markets in October and you can find them at most natural grocery stores and online at http://ecos.com. You can also order directly though this link on the ECOS website. And for more information about the entire Earth Friendly Products (ECOS) line please visit their website.
So this Halloween holiday, don’t let scary ingredients and dirty hands ruin your celebration. Always choose to buy products made with organic and naturally derived ingredients whenever possible especially when it comes to your children’s well being.
Happy Halloween!
I have used the laundry detergent. These are terrific products!
