Annie’s Organic Pizza – Products Worth Reviewing and Giveaway

We all enjoy eating pizza at one time or another, right? Kids especially love how pizzas taste, the way they look, and how they’re easy to hold onto (instead of using a fork and knife). And since you can add virtually any kind of toppings on a pizza, you can have it any way you want. For children, it’s easy to include pizza as a regular food staple in most households because pizzas contain grains, protein, vitamins, and vegetables. But it’s even more important to choose the right kind of pizza. Not all pizzas are healthy for you and some contain a lot of hidden calories and fat. But if you can make your own pizzas at home, then you get to decide what you want on your pizza. I personally like my pizzas with a thin crust and not too much cheese. I love it with spinach, mushrooms, and light goat cheese as well as just plain  sliced tomatoes and cheese.

But what happens when you don’t have a lot of time to make your own pizzas and you’re tired of your old standby, local pizza store? Well, there are actually quite a lot of frozen pizzas sold in markets nowadays. Most of them are not as natural or healthy as you would like, but there are some really good ones out there – if you know where to look. Best places to find healthier and natural frozen pizzas are natural grocery stores or in the organic/natural section of your supermarket. One of the newer frozen pizzas that just emerged is from Annie’s. You may have hear of Annie’s – they make everything from frozen pizzas to dry pastas to organic snacks. In fact, you can probably make a meal out of all Annie’s Homegrown products just because of their various assortment of products. My son really loves their Mac & Cheese and their cereal and their organic snacks are really delicious and versatile. Annie’s foods are also good for anyone of any age and they make both organic and natural products.

Annie’s (https://annies.com/) has been in the natural and organic food business for over 20 years and started with the notion that organic and all-natural foods should be available for everyone. The founder, which the company is named after, firmly believes in the benefits of wholesome and organic food and even lives on her own certified organic farm. And if you look at their packaging, you’ll notice an adorable little bunny named Bernie which became their mascot and adorns all of their packaging. But Annie’s is more than just a cute little bunny and delicious, wholesome foods. They are socially and environmentally responsible and are part of the Grants for Gardens cause which helps community gardens, school gardens and other educational programs that connect children directly to gardening. The funds that Annie’s donates can be used to buy gardening tools, seeds or other needed supplies.

With Annie’s, you’ll find great-tasting, wholesome, and good-for-you foods and they are sold at major supermarkets, natural grocery stores, and even at Target. And on their website, you can find fun activities for children to play with as well as a plethora of info and goodies. The folks at Moms Meet and Annie’s sent me coupons to try their new organic frozen pizza and we decided to try their Organic Spinach and Mushroom Pizza. The Organic Spinach and Mushroom Pizza has a delightful thin crust but with a whole lot of toppings on top. The organic spinach are bite-sized so they’re easier to chew for little kids and their organic portabella mushrooms really makes the pizza unique and flavorful. The other varieties are Organic Supreme Pizza which has organic uncured Pepperoni, Sausage, and roasted peppers, Organic Cheese Pizza which has several different kinds of cheese, and Organic Pepperoni Pizza which has loads of organic uncured Pepperoni. So there’s a pizza for both vegetarians and meat lovers and the portion is a nice medium size so it’s quite satisfying for several people.

Moms Meet and Annie’s would also like to give 3 LUCKY readers of Happymomblogger the opportunity to try their pizzas. Each winner will receive 1 FREE pizza product coupon to select their own variety. So how do you win this yummy prize? Read below to find out!
