We can pretty much all agree that the year 2020 was not what we had hoped for. There were turmoil, angst, confusion, division, and a lot of pain for many people. Each new year, most of us hope for a better future; a future where we can dig out of our darkness and walk into the light. But what can 2021 bring us? While many of us might still be struggling, the hope that lives in our hearts remain there, nonetheless.
I’d like to share some phrases and proverbs for 2021. Perhaps you can write some of these down or remember them when you need them the most.

“To understand your parents love you must raise children yourself.” Chinese proverb – Only parents know what it is like to raise children.
“A single conversation with a wise man is worth a month’s study of books.” Chinese proverb – Wisdom is sometimes more important than knowledge.
